Earlier in the month we went to the Melbourne premiere of The Lucky One and interviewed Zac Efron, Taylor Schilling and the film’s director Scott Hicks
Towards the start of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival we headed to the Palais Theatre and shot a handful of interviews with comedians who were there for the Comedy Allstars TV special which aired last week.
These were broadcast (in part) on 1700 on C31, and on In Joke on SYN FM. The full interviews are online at www.injoke.com.au.
Attached a 30+ year old push/pull FD lens to my 5D mkII and took some shots this afternoon, they look pretty good!
If you’re watching the football on Seven keep an eye out for the new Select trading cards ads. I animated two 15 sec TVCs, taking care to accurately reproduce the lenticular effects on the special cards.

I was recently called up to document the Monash University Graduate Exhibition at their Caulfield campus. There was an enormous amount of work on display, filling several rooms across multiple buildings. We went through every room and shot video which will later be edited together, most likely for promotional purposes this year.
I should mention that the graduate’s work was stunning! I especially loved the industrial design and graphic design galleries, the standard there was really impressive.
